BARCLEY'S MOONTREKKER RACE
Join Mario on one of Hong Kong’s most intense races—the Barclays Moontrekker, an overnight adventure to summit Lantau Peak before dawn in support of The Nature Conservancy. With routes ranging up to 40km, this event combines rugged endurance with breathtaking views, all to champion conservation efforts that matter.
CHARGING ACROSS CANADA
Mario was excited to begin his 8000km+ road trip across Canada, from Newfoundland to British Columbia, in his pure electric vehicle. He aimed to raise awareness about the climate crisis and sustainable travel, using his love of adventure and passion for pushing limits to help spread his message. With his trusty electric car, Mario set out to explore Canada's stunning landscapes and demonstrate the viability of electric vehicles.
CAICOS CHALLENGE (APRIL 2ND 2021)
​Mario Rigby became the first person in history to have traversed the entire length of the Turks & Caicos Islands, stretching from West Caicos to Salt Cay, using only human-powered propulsion  (swimming, running, hiking, paddling, and cycling). Along the way, he explored the stunning terrain of the islands while raising awareness about sustainability and education-related issues.

Cycling and kayaking across Canada from coast to coast starting in British Columbia and ending in Newfoundland.

WALKING ACROSS AFRICA

Crossing Africa is solo two year, 12,000 km voyage from Cape Town, South Africa to Cairo, Egypt, entirely by foot and kayak.

I'm coming home to chronicle new adventures in the Turks and Caicos. Between globe-trotting explorations to remote parts of the world in 2020, I will share breathtaking and heart-pumping local adventures, diving into history, culture and natural wonders. I will venture to the islands’ most rugged landscapes, revealing historical sites, as well as the islands’ rich culture in this visual storytelling series.
